The doctorate program at GRM Bible Institute is designed to help you learn in-depth about the rich Jewish Roots of the Faith, increase your knowledge of the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, develop your ministry skills, and grow your relationship with God through Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah.

Our PhD program consists of 3 parts:

  • Participating in our Bible School on Wheels Tour in Israel
  • Completing a Basic Hebrew course (Biblical Hebrew).
  • Writing your thesis of 80,000 – 100,000 words on a religious/theological research area of the student’s choice.

Prerequisites:

  • High school diploma.
  • Associate of Religious Arts degree from GRM Bible Institute.
  • Bachelor of Religious Arts Degree from GRM Bible Institute OR official transcripts scanned and sent by email to GRM Bible Institute (info@grmbibleinstitute.com) reflecting an earned bachelor’s degree from an approved college.
  • Master of Religious Arts Degree from GRM Bible Institute OR official transcripts scanned and sent by email to GRM Bible Institute (info@grmbibleinstitute.com) reflecting an earned master’s degree from an approved college.
  • Graduate level courses may be transferred with the prior approval of GRM Bible Institute. A minimum of 30 hours must be earned with GRM Bible Institute or a transfer of Theological credits. (Life experience credits are applicable.
  • If the applicant has been in full-time ministry for more than 14 years, he/she may apply directly to the PhD program if he can provide his/her high school diploma and associate of religious arts degree from GRM Bible school. The admittance will be subject to the consideration of the GRM Bible Institute staff.

    Program details

    This Doctoral degree in Religious Philosophy is achieved through the successful completion of a thesis of 80,000 – 100,000 words, written on a religious/theological research area of the student’s choice.

    Preferably, PhD topics chosen should fit into the main areas covered in the GRM Bible Institute:

    • Jewish Roots of the Faith / The Original Gospel made in Zion
    • Dismantling Replacement Theology
    • Inner Healing and Deliverance
    • Women in Leadership

    The thesis for the Doctoral degree in Religious Philosophy will embody independent research work of distinction. The PhD thesis is:

    • An academic thesis about a certain subject, or
    • A compilation of academic publications that may or may not have been published previously.

    Other requirements for participants:

    1. Attend a full Bible School on Wheels Tour in Israel, hosted by Archbishop Dominiquae Bierman. Complete and submit a written report after the Tour (see details below).
    2. Complete a Basic Hebrew course (Biblical Hebrew). Choose an online course and present the certificate upon completion. You may provide a certificate for a Biblical Hebrew course completed prior to enrolling in the PhD program.

    Enrollment

    Students wishing to apply for a PhD will be required to fill in the Application below and to provide academic documentation as specified on the form, along with an application fee of $50. The documents will be reviewed by Kad-Esh MAP Ministries’ Education Team.

    If the information and documents provided indicate sufficient familiarity and compliance with the required academic standards, the applicant will be required to submit a Research Proposal. The PhD Supervisor and the Education Team will give their final decision on admission.

    If English is not your first language:

    For those whose first language is not English and who may have difficulty with the written form, you will be required to hire a proofreader, to assure the thesis is grammatically accurate before submitting it.

    Fees & Time Frame

    The fee for the PhD program is $5,650. Additionally, students must pay for their preferred Hebrew course and for attending the Bible School on Wheels Sukkot Tour in Israel, which is part of the PhD program.

    The time frame for completing the PhD program is 1-5 years.
